Mithun Chakraborty, born on 16th June,1950 at Kolkata,is a renowned Indian actor, producer, and politician celebrated for his impactful contributions to Bollywood and Indian cinema. He is a celebrated actor who made his acting debut in the 1976 film Mrigayaa, earning the National Film Award for Best Actor for his outstanding performance.

With a career spanning several decades, he gained fame for iconic performances in blockbuster films like Disco Dancer and Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki. In addition to his successful acting career, Mithun has made significant strides in politics, serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha and later joining the Trinamool Congress and then the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
