Aero India 2025, Asia’s largest and most anticipated air show, has officially launched at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru. Taking place from February 10 to 14, this year’s event spans over an impressive 42,000 sq. m. and welcomes more than 900 exhibitors, including 150 foreign companies. The biennial exhibition will be inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Aero India 2025 is set to showcase an impressive lineup of advanced aircraft. Highlighting the event are Russia’s Su-57, making its debut, and the U.S. F-35, returning for a second showing, though its flying display is yet to be confirmed. India’s aerospace strength will be on full display, with the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, HJT 36, HTT-40, and LUH participating. The CATS Warrior, a full-scale engineering demonstrator by HAL, will make its first appearance, along with the full-scale model of AMCA, India’s fifth-generation fighter jet.
The Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) will perform a thrilling nine-aircraft display, while the Sarang Helicopter Display Team may miss out this year due to the grounding of the ALH Dhruv helicopter.
