Yemen’s Houthi Group Targets Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport with Zulfiqar and Palestine-2 Missiles in Solidarity with Gaza

Yemen’s Houthi Group has launched a significant missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport using Zulfiqar and Palestine-2 ballistic missiles, escalating the ongoing Middle East conflict. This bold strike, carried out in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, marks a major escalation in regional tensions. Alongside targeting Israeli assets, the Houthi forces also struck U.S. warships in the Red Sea, including the USS Harry S. Truman, with a combination of ballistic and cruise missiles, and drones.

This operation, the second attack on American military vessels within 24 hours, underscores Yemen’s military response to U.S. actions in the region. As the conflict intensifies, Yemen’s Houthi Group continues to disrupt Israeli and American military operations, emphasizing their commitment to opposing foreign intervention and supporting Palestinian sovereignty.

Yemen’s Houthi Group Intensifies Anti-Israel Operations as U.S. Targets Yemeni Hospital

Yemen’s Houthi Group has vowed to continue targeting Israeli maritime navigation and military assets in retaliation for Israeli actions, calling on Yemenis to support Palestinians in Gaza. Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces, emphasized that anti-Israel operations will persist until the siege on Gaza is lifted.

Meanwhile, U.S. airstrikes recently hit Al-Rasool Al-Azam Oncology Hospital in Sa’ada, drawing international condemnation. Yemen’s Cancer Control Fund labeled the attack a war crime, urging the UN and WHO to intervene and stop the ongoing targeting of medical facilities in Yemen. The U.S. military’s Central Command confirmed continued operations against Yemen, further escalating tensions.

U.S. Military Escalates Operations Against Yemen Amid Growing Tensions with Houthi Forces

On Wednesday, U.S. Central Command confirmed its “continuous operations” against Yemen, escalating the already tense situation in the region. This follows deadly U.S. airstrikes on March 15 that killed 53 Yemenis, marking the first wave of strikes since President Donald Trump resumed office. The attacks came shortly after Yemeni forces pledged to intensify operations against Israeli shipping in solidarity with Palestinians suffering from Israeli airstrikes.

In response, the U.S. has also announced the deployment of a second aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson, to the region, further heightening tensions between the U.S. and Houthi forces. As the conflict intensifies, both sides show no signs of de-escalating, and the humanitarian crisis in Yemen and Gaza continues to worsen.

The recent missile and drone attacks by Yemen’s Houthi Group on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport and U.S. warships in the Red Sea mark a significant escalation in the ongoing Middle East conflict.

As tensions rise, these strikes underscore Yemen’s ongoing military response to foreign interventions, particularly against Israel and U.S. forces. With the promise of continued operations, the situation is set to escalate further, putting global security on high alert. The international community must closely monitor these developments to understand the long-term impact on regional stability and humanitarian efforts in Gaza.
